Driver Onboarding Terms & Conditions

By registering and using the Venture Taxis Ltd driver platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Self-Employed Status

All drivers operate as independent self-employed subcontractors.

Nothing in this agreement shall be interpreted as:

• Employment
• Worker status
• Partnership or joint venture

Drivers are responsible for their own:

• Tax and National Insurance
• Vehicle, fuel, and maintenance costs
• Insurance and licensing requirements

 

2. Platform Access

Venture Taxis Ltd provides a booking and dispatch platform only.

Access to the platform:

• Is granted at the discretion of Venture Taxis Ltd
• Does not guarantee work or earnings
• May be restricted, suspended, or removed at any time

 

3. Onboarding Requirements

Drivers must complete onboarding before activation, including:

• Providing valid identification
• Submitting licensing documents
• Uploading vehicle and insurance details
• Completing all required profile information

Failure to provide accurate or complete information may result in rejection or suspension of your account.

 

4. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must:

• Accept jobs responsibly
• Complete all accepted bookings unless agreed otherwise
• Provide a professional and reliable service
• Follow all licensing laws and regulations
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle

Drivers must not engage in behaviour that disrupts the service.

 

5. Job Acceptance & Conduct

Drivers agree:

• Not to accept jobs they do not intend to complete
• Not to repeatedly reject or return jobs after acceptance
• Not to selectively accept jobs based on fare, payment type, or distance

Failure to comply may result in:

• Reduced job allocation
• Changes to rent/commission structure
• Account suspension or removal

 

6. Break Mode & Availability

Drivers must:

• Use Break Mode when unavailable
• Not remain active while working on other platforms without proper status

Misuse of availability may affect platform performance and lead to account review.

 

7. Job Allocation

Jobs are allocated through an automated system based on:

• Location
• Availability
• Driver performance
• System demand

Venture Taxis Ltd does not guarantee equal job distribution.

Drivers agree they will not hold the company liable for differences in earnings.

 

8. Earnings & Payments

Venture Taxis Ltd does not guarantee:

• Minimum income
• Number of jobs
• Fare values

Drivers are responsible for collecting payments where applicable and following system processes.

8A. Commission & Rent Structure

Drivers acknowledge and agree that Venture Taxis Ltd operates a flexible commission and rent model.

The company reserves the right to apply:

• A commission charge between 5% and 30% per job
• Fixed rent arrangements where applicable
• Temporary or permanent adjustments to commission structures based on operational requirements

Commission rates may vary depending on factors including but not limited to:

• Driver performance
• Acceptance and completion rates
• Service standards
• Account activity
• Demand levels
• Promotions or incentive schemes
• Type of work or contract

Venture Taxis Ltd reserves the right to review, amend, increase, reduce, or introduce commission/rent structures at its discretion without guaranteeing fixed rates.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the applicable commission or rent terms in place at that time.

 

9. Licensing Requirements

Drivers must:

• Hold a valid private hire licence
• Comply with all local authority regulations

Venture Taxis Ltd reserves the right to:

• Prioritise locally licensed drivers
• Adjust platform access based on licensing requirements

 

10. Platform Monitoring

Driver activity may be monitored, including:

• Acceptance rates
• Rejection rates
• Customer feedback
• Job completion

This is to ensure service quality and fairness.

 

11. Suspension & Termination

Venture Taxis Ltd reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where necessary, including but not limited to:

• Poor service levels
• High rejection or cancellation rates
• Customer complaints
• Breach of these terms

Termination may occur without prior notice where required.

 

12. No Guaranteed Work

Drivers acknowledge:

• The platform operates on supply and demand
• Work availability may vary
• No entitlement to future work exists

 

13. Limitation of Liability

Venture Taxis Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Loss of earnings
• Loss of opportunity
• Business interruption

arising from:

• Platform changes
• Suspension or removal
• System downtime

 

14. Acceptance of Terms

By registering and using the platform, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood these terms
• Agree to comply with all conditions
• Accept that access to the platform may change at any time

 

15. Final Clause (Legal Protection)

Venture Taxis Ltd operates a dynamic platform model, and reserves the right to modify operational rules, driver access, and system conditions at any time to maintain service standards, compliance, and business sustainability.

All decisions made by Venture Taxis Ltd regarding platform operation are final.
